Professor Gustavo Gozzi

Gustavo Gozzi is full professor of «History of political doctrines» at the University of Bologna.

He is member of CIRSFID - Interdepartmental Centre for Research in the History, Philosophy and Sociology of Law, and in Legal Informatics.

He is member of the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna.

 

He has been professor of “Human Rights and History of International Law” and of “Multiculturalism and Cultural Relativism” in the School of Political Sciences of Bologna University.

 

In 1994 he has been visiting professor at the Faculté de Droit et des Sciences Politiques – Université de Tunis El Manar

Since the academic year 2006-2007 till the academic year 2011-2012 he has been visiting professor in the Master's Course in «Estudios Culturales Mediterraneos» at Tarragona University Rovira i Virgili.

In 2011 he has been visiting professor at the Marmara University in Istanbul.

From the academic year 2014-2015 till now he is visiting professor at the University of Peloponnese - Department of Political Sciences and International Relations - Corinth - Greece.

 

He is member of the journal “Scienza & Politica”.

He is member of the Scientific committee of the journal “Jura Gentium” in the Centre of philosophy of International Law and global policy of Florence University.

He is member of the Italian Association of Historians of Political Thought.

He is member of the Scientific Committee of the Foundation Institute Gramsci.

He is member of the direction of “Athena. A journal of multicultural epistemologies”.

 

From 1982 to 1995 he has collaborated with the Istituto italo-germanico in Trento where he has accomplished many research projects.

Since 1989 to 1997 he has been in Germany, in particular at the Institut für Õffentliches Recht and by the Max Planck Institut für europäische Rechtsgeschichte in Frankfurt/Main in order to accomplish studies and researches.

 

He is Director of the Master's Course in “Human Rights, Migrations, Development” of Bologna University.

Since 1994 he has been responsible for the Convention between Bologna University and the University of Tunis El Manar.

At present he is responsible of the «Centre for the Constitutional Studies, the Cultures, the Rights and the Democracies» by the CIRSFID of Bologna University.

He has been Representative of Bologna University by the Euro-mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue among Cultures «Anna Lindh».


Moreover, he is Director of the series “Democracies, Rights, Constitutions” by the Publisher Il Mulino in Bologna.
